Holiday.

Patrick, King, and I spent the Christmas holiday at my parents' house in Northern California. Patrick's back at work now but I'm staying here for a bit longer to get some extra help with King. Whew!

Some photos from the weekend (I don't have my usual gear with me so pardon the quality):

  1. aww I loved the Christmas pictures! :) The one of King with his arm in the air looks like he saying, "Hey world" He is ADORABLE. I can't get over how stinkin cute he is. And I love the puppy with King and Daddy. He looks a little like Tatum! :0)

Now if I know where to get grass jelly like that here, instead of the black ones, I might just try it.

  8. hi all,

grass jelly comes in a can and looks like jelly cranberry sauce when it comes out. then you cut it up. we served it with lots of ice, lemon juice, and some honey. it is meant to be eaten as a light dessert or palette cleanser.

the ice wine is made from frozen grapes in canada. it is very sweet and syrupy. as my brother put it, "a definite lady pleaser."
